The most important thing before you go and have an abortion is.... EDUCATION!

  • Because you are in a crisis and scared, you tend to just go and run and get rid of the baby, but now it's very important that you use your head and not your emotions. Keep a cool head, and GET INFORMED!

  • Nobody can make this decision except you. Don't turn good and helpful advice away!

  • Nobody can force you to have an abortion! It Is against the law!

Do you know what the state law requires of you before you go and have an abortion?

  • The state has put together a booklet so that you can get prepared and know what to expect. It is mandatory for you to have read and understood it before you go and have an abortion! This is a life changing decision, regardless of how you are going to decide, therefore take the time and get educated. Ignorance and denial will cripple your life. Give us a call to schedule an appointment at 504-227-9090.

Do you know the physical and emotional effects of an abortion?

"People do not understand that there are thousands of serious physical complications from abortion every year in this country."
                                                               Dr. Bernhard Nathanson, OB/GYN
                                                                             (Former abortionist)

"Abortion has a painful aftermath, regardless of your beliefs or how badly you wanted this abortion before."
                                                               Vincent Rue, Ph.D
                                                                              (Psychologist)

Safety Checks For Your Health

  • Make sure that your pregnancy test result is absolutely accurate
Dr. Carol Everett, a former abortion provider, testified in Congress that she provided abortions to women who were not pregnant.
  • Make sure that they perform certain blood test
If you have any Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) and they do an abortion on you without testing you first, you can get major infections with long term irreversible consequences!
  • Do not let anybody perform an abortion prior to 7 weeks
Abortion clinics may tell you that it is o.k. to have an abortion before you actually are 7 weeks pregnant, don't do it!!! Because they are done as "blind procedures" (going by feeling and guessing) they may not remove all the parts of the fetus.
  • You should always demand an ultrasound
They will not be able to diagnose a life threatening ectopic pregnancy without an ultrasound. You therefore will have an abortion and still have to go through surgery. Ask them to show ALL of the baby when they do an ultrasound, this will help you to heal better emotionally and psychologically later on!
  • Verify that the doctor is competent and caring by calling the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiner
Calling the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiner at 1-800-298-7549 or 504-568-6820 ext.238 and ask for Charles Fleetwood. The Board of med. Examiner will disclose whether they have taken any disciplinary action against the doctor.
  • Understand your legal rights following your abortion
If you have any legal questions, complaints or you are physically or emotionally injured, call 1-800-634-2224. You always retain your constitutional right to seek financial compensation in a court of law, no matter what you signed. Give us a call for further education and information.

What do women say after the abortion
